CRANOIST Gantry Crane are used for overhead materials handling where existing columns do not have overhead brackets to support gantry & rails. Or in open areas where columns cannot be accommodated. The top main girder is mounted on two A shape columns which are further resting on wheel mounted end carriages.

Main Girder : The girder is designed considering the class, the frequency of operation & the duty cycle. The girder could be plate box type or truss type for single girder with its bottom flange as path for trolley of hoist.

The girder could also have a double girder design for heavy duty applications, Where a suitable track is provided on top of the girders for travel of crab wheels.

DESIGN : ‘Cranoist’ Electric Overhead Traveling Cranes are designed & manufactured accordance With IS- 807 & IS – 3177 considering factor of safety in respect to appropriate class of duty.

MOTORS : Electric motors of all the motions will be totally enclosed, fan cooled Slipping / Sq. Cage induction crane duty motors with class-B insulation and protected with IP-55 protection confirming to IS-325. All the motors will be S4 duty with 40% C.D.F 4 Poles and 6 Poles, 3 Phase, 415V : 50Hz for A.C. Supply.

GEAR BOXES : The entire Gear Boxes are made of accurate hob cut helical / spur gears & pinions Having hardness 250 to 300 BHN mode from carbon alloy steel. The all gears & pinions running On anti-friction type ball / roller hearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash Lubrication. The helical / spur gear designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation long life.

BRAKES : The crane motors are fitted with Electro Magnetic brake for hoisting Motion. The brake designed and build to arrest and hold safely the full load capacity of the crane. The construction of brake are either shoe type or disc type spring loaded. The brake are ‘fail to safe’ type in case failure of electric supply, brake acts immediately.

ELECTRICAL PANEL : Modular design, covering a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation and maintenance and reliable operation, with fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.

PAINTING: Every component & part is thoroughly scrubbed & painted with two coats of primer before assembly & two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.
